Garage floors, home gyms and warehouse floors coated with a system made for 100-degree summers and Santa Ana dust — with the concrete diamond-ground first so the coating actually bonds.

Epoxy flooring is a two-part resin coating that bonds to bare concrete and cures into a hard, glossy surface. It is many times thicker than the garage floor paint sold in a can, and it seals the slab so oil, dust and stains stay on top where they wipe off.
Most of our work is in home garages across neighborhoods like Sierra Lakes, Hunter’s Ridge, Summit Heights and Southridge. We also coat home gyms, laundry rooms and the shop and warehouse floors that line the I-10 and I-15 corridors.
A good floor has three layers: a ground and repaired slab, a base coat that grips the concrete, and a topcoat that takes the wear. Skipping the first layer is the reason most garage coatings peel.
Four coating systems, one prep standard. Every floor starts with the concrete ground open and the cracks filled.
Full-broadcast flake or solid color over a ground slab, sealed against oil, stains and hot tires.
Garage floor epoxy details
A fast-curing, UV-stable coating that is often finished in one day and will not yellow in the sun.
Polyaspartic coating details
Pigment worked by hand while the resin is wet, giving a floor with depth and movement.
Metallic epoxy flooring details
High-build coatings, joint filling and safety striping, scheduled so your operation keeps moving.
Commercial epoxy flooring detailsThese are the situations that bring most homeowners to a floor coating.
Patches lifting near the garage door usually mean the slab was acid-etched or just washed before it was coated. The coating sat on top of the concrete instead of gripping it, and it lets go a little more every summer.
Dull rings where the car parks are hot tire pickup. Tires that just came off the freeway on a 100-degree day soften thin, low-solids coatings and peel them up when the car backs out.
Bare concrete soaks up oil, transmission fluid and rust like a sponge. Once the stain is deep in the slab, degreaser stops working. A sealed floor keeps the next drip on the surface.
Bare concrete sheds a fine powder, and dry Santa Ana winds push more grit under the door. A coated floor stops the slab itself from dusting and sweeps clean in minutes.
A home gym, workshop or game room starts with the floor. A coating handles dropped weights, rolling tool chests and spilled drinks far better than concrete or rubber mats alone.
A clean, bright garage floor makes the whole house show better when buyers walk through it. It is one of the quickest upgrades to finish before the house goes on the market.
A standard two-car garage takes one to two days on site, depending on the coating system and how much repair the slab needs.
We look at cracks, old coatings and drainage, and test older slabs for moisture coming up from the ground.
A walk-behind grinder with a vacuum opens the surface so the coating can soak in and grip, with very little dust.
Cracks, pits and spalled edges are filled and ground flush so they do not show through the finished floor.
The base coat goes down and flakes are broadcast into it while wet, or the color coat is laid for a solid floor.
A clear, UV-stable topcoat seals everything in. We tell you exactly when it is safe to walk and when to park.
Summer scheduling: resin cures fast in heat, so on hot days we start early and keep the garage door mostly closed. That keeps the coating workable and keeps wind-blown dust out of the wet finish.
Acid etching is quick, but it leaves sealers and old tire residue in the concrete. Grinding removes them and gives the coating something to hold. It is the step that decides whether a floor lasts.
Many garages here sit with the door open through bright afternoons. We use UV-stable topcoats on those floors so the color stays true instead of turning amber after a few summers.
You get a written quote that lists the prep, the repairs and every coat in the system. If the slab has a moisture or cracking problem, we tell you before any work begins.
Hiring tip: California requires a state contractor license for most floor coating jobs. Ask any installer for their license number and look it up on the CSLB website, and ask for proof of liability insurance before anyone grinds your floor.
The cost of an epoxy floor comes down to three things: the size of the space, the condition of the concrete and the coating system you pick. A clean, newer slab needs less work than one with deep oil stains, wide cracks or a failed coating that has to be ground off.
The system matters too. A full flake floor, a solid color, a metallic design and a one-day polyaspartic floor each use different materials and labor. Commercial floors add factors like forklift traffic, joint repair and after-hours scheduling.
Because every slab is different, we measure and inspect the floor in person and give you a written quote at no charge. Call (909) 550-6756 to book your free on-site estimate.
An epoxy floor coating is a strong fit for most garages, but not for every slab or every plan.
We measure the space, check the slab for moisture and cracks, and leave you a written quote. No charge and no pressure.
Call (909) 550-6756 NowA garage floor that was diamond-ground and coated with a full system usually lasts 10 years or more under normal family use. The things that shorten its life are poor prep, moisture coming up through the slab and a topcoat that is not rated for sun. Most coatings that fail early were rolled over a slab that was never ground.
You can walk on most systems the next day. Cars should wait until the coating has cured hard, which is usually 24 to 48 hours for a polyaspartic topcoat and about 5 to 7 days for a full epoxy system. Hot weather speeds curing up, so summer installs reach drive-on strength faster than winter ones.
Heat alone does not make a properly bonded floor peel. The real summer problem is hot tire pickup, where tires coming off the freeway soften a thin coating and lift it. A 100% solids base coat under a polyaspartic or urethane topcoat is built to resist that, and it should be part of any quote for a garage that sees daily driving.
Standard epoxy does slowly amber when UV light hits it, which matters in garages that sit with the door open on bright afternoons. A UV-stable topcoat such as polyaspartic stops the yellowing and keeps the color true. Indoor floors that never see direct sun are much less affected.
Yes, as long as the old material comes off first. Peeling paint and failed coatings are ground away, and cracks are opened and filled with a flexible repair material before the base coat goes down. Wide or uneven cracks get looked at during the estimate, because they can point to slab movement that a coating will not stop.
The cost depends on the size of the floor, how much grinding and crack repair it needs, and which coating system you choose. Because those three things change from garage to garage, we give every homeowner a free on-site estimate with a written quote instead of a guess over the phone.
